Body Collective — Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Body Collective platform and all related services provided through:
Body Collective
By using the platform, users and practitioners agree to these Terms.
2. Platform Role
Body Collective acts solely as a curated marketplace and booking platform connecting clients with independent practitioners, facilitators and event providers.
Body Collective does not provide therapeutic, medical or healthcare services itself.
All services listed on the platform are offered independently by the respective practitioners or providers.
3. Eligibility of Practitioners
Practitioners, facilitators and event providers using the platform must:
- act in a professional, freelance or commercial capacity,
- be legally permitted to offer their services,
- provide accurate and truthful information,
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Body Collective reserves the right to reject or remove profiles at its discretion.
4. Practitioner Profiles
Body Collective may assist practitioners in creating editorial profiles and listings.
Practitioners remain fully responsible for:
- profile content,
- qualifications,
- images,
- descriptions,
- pricing,
- offered services,
- schedules and availability.
5. Bookings & Payments
Clients book and pay directly through the platform’s booking system.
For standard practitioner sessions:
- a 15% commission fee applies per booking.
Professional practitioner accounts with:
- multiple locations,
- workshops,
- seminars,
- retreats or recurring events
may additionally be subject to a monthly platform fee of 29 €
Payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect.
Practitioners may be required to create or maintain a Stripe account in order to receive payouts.
6. Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled session.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be charged in full.
Practitioners may define additional cancellation rules where legally permitted.
7. Seminars, Workshops & Events
Providers offering seminars, workshops, retreats or events may define individual cancellation and refund policies.
These policies must be clearly displayed before booking.
Body Collective is not responsible for individual refund or cancellation decisions made by providers.
8. No Medical Advice
Content published on the platform is provided for informational purposes only.
Body Collective does not guarantee therapeutic outcomes and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Users should consult qualified healthcare professionals where appropriate.
9. Liability
Body Collective is not liable for:
- services provided by practitioners,
- cancellations by providers,
- practitioner conduct,
- therapeutic outcomes,
- injuries, damages or losses arising from booked services.
Responsibility for services lies solely with the respective practitioner or provider.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, design and platform materials remain the property of Body Collective unless otherwise stated.
Practitioners retain ownership of their submitted content.
11. Account Suspension & Removal
Body Collective reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts or listings that:
- violate these Terms,
- contain misleading information,
- harm the integrity of the platform,
- violate applicable laws.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Jurisdiction shall be Berlin, where legally permissible.
